Hi everybody ! I just got back from the great country of Australia, so I will tell you how it was and what I did.
I flew to Australia for twelve days. I landed in Tasmania in Hobart, where I stayed for four days. Tasmania is a region of Australia, a group of islands. There, I was on the biggest island. For my discovery of Tasmania, I chose to visit landscapes like for example Great Oyster Bay on the Freycinet Peninsula. The view was breathtaking !
After that, I admired the Saint Columba falls, a small and refreshing place.
Then, I walked around the Cataract Gorge.
This offered us an awesome view of the landscape!
To finish this little trip in Tasmania well, I decided to go boating on Dove lake and then do some hiking on Cradle Mountain with a sightseeing on the top.
The fifth day I took the boat to Australia. I wanted to return to the city so I drove a little to get to Melbourne. I only stayed on the East Coast. I resided there in a nice hotel for two days. The first day, I began by visiting the National Gallery of Victoria. It's an art museum. I recommend this museum to all art lovers, there are some really wonderful works ! The same day I went to the Eureka tower.
The picture speaks for itself :)
The second day, I saw the station of Flinders street. This is an old, very architectural building. And finally, I made a trip to the Docklands. I stayed there all evening to see the neighborhood lighted by night.
Look how beautiful it is !
After this, I drove to the capital, Canberra, where I stayed for two days too. There, I stopped by the new Parliament and the High Court the morning of the first day, and I visited the National Museum of Australia in the afternoon. So I learned a lot about the history of this amazing country. I spent my second day on the National Multicultural Festival in Canberra. This is one of the biggest festivals in the world and I love festivals so I needed to participate. It was so great !
And to finish off, how could I not to go through Sydney?! There I decided to stay for four days. I began by visiting the Royal Botanic Garden and the famous Sydney Opera House.
In the evening I took to walk around Darling Harbour.
The next day, I spent my day trying to surf and sunbathing at Bondi Beach. The third day I visited The Rocks where I saw many of Queen Victoria's buildings. The Rocks is a tourist precinct and an historic area of Sydney's city center.
The entrance to the neighborhood.
For the last day I went back to my childhood by visiting the Toy museum. And in the afternoon I went shopping, of course! I stay true to myself !
And so this beautiful journey ends with a head filled with lots of wonderful memories (and an almost empty wallet ^^ ).
