Australia trip of A.Fournier

Hi everyone !!!

Last month, I went to Australia for 3 weeks for visiting the country.

First, with this blog, I want to show you how beautiful this country is. Australians are very sympathetic and they love their country. In my different hotels, nobody disturbed me and I love this for my holidays

I arrived in Australia by boat, in Darwin, the 25th of May 2012. This city is very impressive because it had a big beach. It was the first I’ve ever seen. I stayed 2 days in this city because their are lots of things to do !

I saw a lot of crocodiles around Darwin city.

To continue my trip, I went to Katherine’s waterfalls. Katherine is the city which is on the road between Darwin and Alice Springs. It was also my point of rest between these 2 cities.

The Katherine waterfalls are in Nitmiluk National Park. It is the most popular attraction for tourists who coming to Australia like me. I took the boat which showed us the insides of the waterfalls and I got sick

In one week, I have seen a lot of things in Australia. First, when I arrived in Alice Springs city, I had forgotten the name of my hotel, but fortunately, I recorded the hotel’s cellular number in mine. Alice Springs is a big city where there are lots of things to do such as visits,…

<== After Alice Springs, I wanted to see the the famous Mount Uluru

Before to go in Woomera. In Woomera, I’ve seen a Restricted/forbidden military area. One day later, I arrived at Port Aucusta. Here, I took a little private boat and I sailed on the Southern Ocean. I took this boat to go to King Island and after that, to continue my trip.

When I arrived in King Island port, my host family met me. King Island is very strange because nobody, not even a tourist, ever comes here. But this island is exotic in comparison with Australia because its climate is more pleasant.

During the last week, I visited a lot of cities, like Broken Hill or Wagga Wagga (not the spiders) and more. But all of them were fascinating. I took the plane inAdelaide.

My trip was exciting and I have learned a lot of customs from the Australian people. I will never forget my trip because of the landscapes and the people. I would have liked to stay in this country, but I prefer to return to my home because here, there are not big BIG spiders or crocodiles.

I hope you write soon, bye

  1. Hi Aymeric,

    Good work!
I've highlighted in yellow everything that needs correction. In green what I've added, this is already corrected but I wanted you to see the difference with what you wrote earlier. Please correct and update! Thanks, Mrs Baldwin
